<p><span style="font-size: 120%;">Dr. VanDrunen, a minister of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, began teaching at Westminster Seminary California in 2001. He formerly served as a pastor of Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Hanover Park, IL, and currently serves on the Orthodox Presbyterian Church&rsquo;s Committee on Christian Education and Subcommittee on Ministerial Training. His present research interests include natural law, the two kingdoms doctrine, and bioethics. He was the recipient of the Acton Institute&rsquo;s Novak Award in 2004 and was a visiting fellow at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University in the spring of 2009.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 120%;">Dr. VanDrunen is the author or editor of five books, most recently <em>Bioethics and the Christian Life: A Guide to Making Difficult Decisions, The Law is not of Faith: Essays on Works and Grace in the Mosaic Covenant,</em> and <em>A Biblical Case for Natural Law</em>. His scholarly articles have appeared in many journals, including the <em>American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly, Calvin Theological Journal, International Journal of Systematic Theology, Journal of Church and State,</em> and <em>Journal of Law and Religion</em>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 120%;">Join us for an evening with Dr. VanDrunen as he lectures on his book <em>Natural Law and the Two Kingdoms: A Study in the Development of Reformed Social Thought.&nbsp; </em>Dr.<em> </em>VanDrunen will explain why he wrote the book and the two main themes of this survey of the history of Reformed social thought.</span></p>
