Have you ever asked yourself why we worship at Christ Reformed Church the way we do? Perhaps you’ve wondered about some of these things: Why does the minister wear a robe and raise his hands?; Why is the service ordered the way it is? What do words like “liturgy,” “invocation,” and “benediction” mean? "Why do we corporately respond during the service and recite ancient creeds?; Why do we read the Bible and pray so much? These are just a few of the questions we often have but may not always feel comfortable asking. Join us for the next several weeks in the Adult Sunday School Class, at 9:00 a.m., as Rev. Lenzner explains why we do what we do on Sunday and teaches us about all the parts of the worship service.”

Join us on Sunday, September 11 at 9:00 a.m. when Rev. Brad Lenzner will begin a new Sunday school series: "Suffering: Not the Final Word”. As pilgrims traveling through this sad world to our heavenly home, we constantly face suffering in one way or another. How does the Gospel explain the existence of our suffering? How does the Good News of Jesus Christ comfort us in our suffering? How does the Gospel empower us to make our way through suffering and take us all the way to heaven? These are some of the questions we will consider during this teaching series. The aim of this study is to remind ourselves from the Scriptures that suffering does not have the final word over our lives, the Savior does!
GEMS (Girl Everywhere Meeting the Savior) Girls Club is a place where girls from grades 1–8 come together to learn about God, fellowship, and encouraging one another. Each Wednesday evening we meet at 7:00 p.m. to learn the catechism followed by an activity such as crafts, arts, sports, baking, sewing or crocheting/knitting. Our theme this year is Love Overflows.
