We live in a time when religious affiliation is on the wane, and autonomy is on the rise. People increasingly believe that they are not accountable to anyone. They begin to see themselves as the measure of all things. In such a world, there are no ultimate standards of truth, goodness or beauty, but only subjective preferences which is why many have come to believe in our day “we are what we feel.”
Join us as Mike Horton challenges us to ask ourselves whether we too have bought into many of the beliefs and assumptions of our contemporary culture, with its stress on consumer preference and individual autonomy. This message of hope reorients our hearts and encourages us to raise our eyes to heaven.

A new 8 week Adult Sunday School series on Covenant Theology begins January 14, 2018 at 9 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Mr. Yi Wang, a senior Westminster Seminary California student will be teaching this class. Covenant theology is a unique theological heritage from the Reformed churches since the day of Reformation. It is not only a significant Biblical concept, but an important interpretative framework to understand the flow of redemptive history. This series on Covenant theology surveys through the three overarching covenants, namely, Covenant of Redemption, Covenant of Works and Covenant of Grace, and the major biblical covenants such as Noahic Covenant, Abrahamic Covenant, Mosaic Covenant, Davidic Covenant, and finally the New Covenant. This study will help you better understand the Bible as a whole, but more importantly, it will help you appreciate more the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
