Is Protestantism fatigued? Host Rev. Chris Gordon sits down with Rev. Dan Borvan of Christ Reformed Church in Anaheim and Rev. Adam Kaloostian of Ventura Reformed Church to diagnose the weariness of Western Protestantism. They start with the cultural malaise of our moment: constant digital distraction, rising anxiety, lost generational optimism, creeping nihilism, and a mobile society that makes it hard to put down roots in one local church for decades. From there they turn to the deep distrust of institutions that has spilled over into how people view the church.
