You are welcome to join the Missions Committee on Sunday, February 2 to hear a report from Dave Vander Meer regarding Word & Deed ministries.  We will be meeting in Rooms 305/306 right after the morning worship service.

In the past we supported Word & Deed in their ministry to orphans in Malawi in the continent of Africa. Millions of orphans have lost one or both parents to the HIV/AIDS virus and many other are abandoned. Polygamy, unconcerned fathers, witchcraft and prostitution have all left their mark on this country. Word & Deed partners with various organizations to support orphan care, church leadership training, safe homes and youth development projects.

The children might be interesting in hearing about the orphan care in Malawi.
